Legacy proudly presents a Celebration of Music and The Arts..."ART IN MOTION!" This monthly educational fund raising event will benefit talented Portuguese students.

Our first performance will be presented by Yara Gutkin on piano, "Art & Orchestra into Piano", performing works of Falla, Prokofiev, Stravinsky, Jobim and her unique transcription. Also, our special guest is, Veliana Hristova, concertino solista de Teatro Sao Carlos, she will offer to our community sounds to embrace.

With the generous support towards education and our Educational Series, we would like to deeply thank the Camara Municipal de Cascais for their passion towards community excellence in education!

Praising  the work of “a special school with very special people”

Legacy Fund Portugal would like to profoundly thank the UK Chargé d’Affaires, Joanna Kuenssberg O’Sullivan, for her visit to the Escola Secundaria Alves Redol in Vila Franca de Xira on May 17, 2011. For the second consecutive year, this state school has been the winner of  the English Speaking Union-Portugal Public Speaking Competition.
